"I love how these lights look over our kitchen island. The ceiling above is high and vaulted. Customer service was helpful in answering my questions and suggesting I buy the “hang straight” adapter. I also bought multiple extension rods to get just the right height. We’re still finishing our reno but everyone has complimented us on the beautiful lighting."

"This light is so wonderful! I ordered one pendant light from Dutton and the same kind of light from another company (much cheaper but looked the same online). My goal was to compare the two products before making a final purchase of three lights in total. I got this globe light fixture out of the box and simply placed it over a lightbulb (from a table lamp). The inner glow, the reflecting light from the surroundings - it was far superior than the other company. Installing the light was easy as well. The only issue we have is that it does not sit completely flush with the ceiling, no matter what we do, but it's just very small and not too noticable... maybe a couple of millimeters from the ceiling. But that may our installation process - not the light fixture. Make sure to get the shipping insurance. One light came shattered in the box and the customer service team at Dutton quickly replaced it, no problem."

- Does the color of the part(s) inside the globe change along with the finish? For example, if the rod, canopy, etc. are brass, is the cylinder inside the bulb also brass or does it stay black?
- Hi there, the finish of the parts inside of the globe are determined based on the globe finish that is selected; white or clear. If a white globe is selected, the socket will not have a lamp cup because it will be concealed by the white globe. If a clear globe is selected, the parts on the inside (globe holder and lamp cup) will match the finish that you choose.
