"I love how these lights look over our kitchen island. The ceiling above is high and vaulted. Customer service was helpful in answering my questions and suggesting I buy the “hang straight” adapter. I also bought multiple extension rods to get just the right height. We’re still finishing our reno but everyone has complimented us on the beautiful lighting."

"This light is so wonderful! I ordered one pendant light from Dutton and the same kind of light from another company (much cheaper but looked the same online). My goal was to compare the two products before making a final purchase of three lights in total. I got this globe light fixture out of the box and simply placed it over a lightbulb (from a table lamp). The inner glow, the reflecting light from the surroundings - it was far superior than the other company. Installing the light was easy as well. The only issue we have is that it does not sit completely flush with the ceiling, no matter what we do, but it's just very small and not too noticable... maybe a couple of millimeters from the ceiling. But that may our installation process - not the light fixture. Make sure to get the shipping insurance. One light came shattered in the box and the customer service team at Dutton quickly replaced it, no problem."

- Can this fixture be installed with a 6 inch extension rod instead of the standard 12 inch rod?
- Hi there, yes, we can replace the standard 12" rod with a 6" rod, which would put the installed height at 22". If you wish to proceed with this customization, please add a note to the order stating you would like to replace the 12" rod with a 6" rod.
- Can you tell me how long the wires are that come with the unit? I am looking at needing multiple extension rods and would need wires on the order of 80 inches or so....
- Hi there, the fixture comes standard with one 12" extension rod; this puts the fixture at a 28" hanging height which includes a total of 3ft of wire. If you need additional length, you will need to purchase additional [extension rods](https://www.duttonbrown.com/products/extension-rod) to achieve your desired hanging height. We will then supply enough wire based on the additional extension rods purchased.
