Our color beaded "urchin" is the ultimate combination of captivating design and colorful charm. Each flush mount is built on a CNC-machined aluminum core adorned with 316 individually threaded solid brass rods. What makes this fixture special though are its 124 colorful beads, all powder coated here in-house, that create an explosive supernova effect. Choose from our array of colors or a custom color and learn why our customers oft call this "my urchin".

- Hi there, unfortunately, the installed height of 15" is the shortest possible hanging height for Color Beaded Urchin Flush Mount 27".

- Yes, this fixture will work with 8' ceilings. When installed the fixture, there is about 2" of space between the topmost beads of the fixture and the ceiling with an overall installed height of 14". This means on an 8' ceiling, the fixture should be about 6'10" above the floor. The standard for a fixture above the floor is 7' if you walk under the fixture, so you have to decide if the extra 2" will interfere with your head space. If the fixture is positioned above something (like a table), then there should be no issue.
