Love these pendant lights!

"This light is so wonderful! I ordered one pendant light from Dutton and the same kind of light from another company (much cheaper but looked the same online). My goal was to compare the two products before making a final purchase of three lights in total. I got this globe light fixture out of the box and simply placed it over a lightbulb (from a table lamp). The inner glow, the reflecting light from the surroundings - it was far superior than the other company. Installing the light was easy as well. The only issue we have is that it does not sit completely flush with the ceiling, no matter what we do, but it's just very small and not too noticable... maybe a couple of millimeters from the ceiling. But that may our installation process - not the light fixture. Make sure to get the shipping insurance. One light came shattered in the box and the customer service team at Dutton quickly replaced it, no problem."

Would this work with a sloped ceiling?
Yes, the Cap Pendant 8" is compatible with sloped ceilings. To make the fixture compatible, you will need to purchase our [hang-straght attachement](https://www.duttonbrown.com/products/hang-straight-attachment) which is located in the [accessories](https://www.duttonbrown.com/collections/accessories) section of the website.
Is the pendant length customizable, i.e. less than 24"?
Hello, yes, the pendant lengths are customizable. The fixture comes with one 12" extension rod to get an installed height of 24". If you would like the fixture to be shorter, we also offer it as a [flush mount](https://www.duttonbrown.com/products/cap-globe-flush-mount-8) which has an installed height of 11". If that is too short, we can replace the 12" extension rod with a 2", 4", or 6" rod to get you to your desired hanging height.
