Our Color Cadbury Pendant 8" is the dome pendant born after we'd seen one too many tragically hung low-gauge dome pendants on crooked fabric cords.
The solution? Cover the cord with a solid brass rod, integrate a seamless cap atop each dome, and source aluminum domes thick enough that they don't sound like flimsy cans when you tap them. Alike all our lighting, this pendant is basically a masterclass in how to do lighting design the right way. And with “Cadbury” meaning “strong fortress” in Celtic, this fixture is literally built on bold foundations.
Pop a pair above your kitchen island or flank your vanity for a look that says, “Yes, I have great taste. Thanks for noticing.”

- Hi. This pendant says installed is 17". Can the rod be cut to accommodate a shorter space?
- Hi there. The fixture comes with one 12" extension rod to get an installed height of 17". If you would like the fixture to be shorter, we also offer the fixture as a [flush mount](https://www.duttonbrown.com/products/color-cadbury-dome-flush-mount-8) which has an installed height of 8". If that is too short, we can replace the 12" extension rod with a 2", 4" or 6" rod to get you to your desired hanging height.
