Description

The Color Prisma Chandelier made boring globe chandeliers a thing of the past. The Color Big Prisma Chandelier 42" is here to make sure they stay there.

Five 8" opal glass globes sit at different angles across a geometric frame of aluminum and brass, stretching 42" long and 26" wide, so the shape shifts as you move around the room. Scaled up from our Color Prisma Chandelier 35", it’s made for the big rooms: long dining tables, grand entryways, and open-concept living spaces at home, plus restaurants, hotel lobbies, and lounges that need a centerpiece. It hangs from 25" to 43" with extension rods, works on sloped ceilings with the hang-straight add-on, and is UL listed for damp locations. Choose from our 14 signature colors and 3 finishes, and we’ll make yours to order in our Minneapolis studio.

Boring globe chandeliers, consider this your final notice.

MCM Bliss

"I’m so pleased with this beautiful chandelier. I also love that Dutton Brown is still a small and locally owned company. This chandelier is called their “Big Color Status Chandelier” and they have 12 colors to choose from - which they custom craft each piece to order. It was the cherry on top of our MCM restoration goals. I’m obsessed. I had several questions along the way and each time their representatives helped answer my questions promptly"

Fantastic!

"Easy to install, gorgeous...can’t say enough! And the purchase process was easy and quick. Our new house is now full of DB!"

Q&A

Can this Big Prisma 42” be suspended from a sloped ceiling?
Hi there, yes, the Big Prisma Chandelier 42" can be hung on a sloped ceiling. To do this, you will need to purchase a [hang-straight attachment](https://www.duttonbrown.com/products/hang-straight-attachment).
Do you recommend using the clear bulbs if the fixture has the solid white glass globes or should I stick to the solid bulbs?
Hi there, if you are purchasing the fixture with white globes, then I would suggest ordering [white bulbs](https://www.duttonbrown.com/collections/light-bulbs) because you will not be able to see bulbs when they are installed.
What is the minimum installed height for this fixture?
Hi there, the fixture comes standard with 24" of extension rod, two 6" and one 12" rod. Depending on the rods you use, the hanging height range is anywhere from 25" - 43". The miniumum hanging height is 25", which is achieved by using one 6" rod.
